The museum contains an important collection of works ranging from the 19th century to the present, created in Italy and abroad.
Inside the Gallery we find nearly 20,000 works divided among paintings, sculptures, drawings, and installations.
The works are expressions of artistic currents such as neoclassicism, impressionism, divisionism, futurism, surrealism. But also works from the Roman school and works from the last fifty years of the 20th century.
The works are exhibited in rotation following specific thematic paths related to temporary exhibitions.
Among the most important names are Nino Costa, Giulio Aristide Sartorio, Adolfo De Carolis, Armando Spadini, Arturo Noci, Camillo Innocenti, Giacomo Balla, Mario Mafai, Giuseppe Capogrossi, and Emanuele Cavalli.
The Gallery hosts numerous temporary exhibitions and events.
